Inked Microelectronics focuses on display chip design and has certain technical accumulation in Mini LED backlight related fields. Its business covers MiniLED backlight optical and image quality simulation software, display main control chips, image quality processing algorithms, backlight driver chips, etc. The company has developed supporting chipset solutions for medium and large size Mini LED backlight display technology.

Shenzhen Skyworth-RGB is a national high-tech enterprise that has long been engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of display terminal products. It is actively deploying new generation information technologies such as 5G and AIoT. Its business covers ultra-high-definition video, smart home systems and other fields. It has established a relatively complete technology and product system in 8K ultra-high-definition display and multi-scenario intelligent control systems.

This cooperation will rely on Skyworth's industrial advantages in terminal manufacturing and system integration, combined with Inkodi's core technologies in chip design and algorithm development, to focus on breaking through key technical bottlenecks such as Mini LED backlight module light efficiency optimization, high-precision partition control, and ultra-thin packaging.

The laboratory will focus on "chip-module-complete machine" collaborative innovation, build a vertical R&D system from core devices to end products, accelerate the transformation of my country's new display technology from laboratory results to industrial applications, and provide key technical support for the development of the ultra-high-definition video industry.

Against the background of the continued promotion of the old-for-new policy in China’s TV market, Mini LED technology has become the core competition track in the TV display field. Mainstream brands such as TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, and Skyworth have stepped up their efforts to promote the rapid development and popularization of Mini LED TV products. According to TrendForce forecasts, Mini LED backlight TV shipments are expected to exceed 11.5 million units by 2025, accounting for 6% of the global TV market.

Under the overall rapid development trend of the industry, Skyworth continues to increase its investment in the Mini LED backlight field. In April this year, Skyworth launched the A4F series Mini LED TV, equipped with 100-level Mini LED partitioned backlight and 4K 144Hz high refresh rate panel, available in 75-inch and 85-inch sizes, with a starting price of 3,499 yuan.
