On April 27, TCL Electronics announced global TV shipment data for the first quarter of 2025.
TCL Electronics said that with the implementation of the "TCL + Thunderbird" dual brand and "mid-high-end + large-screen" strategies, combined with cutting-edge technologies such as Mini LED, quantum dots, and AI intelligence, TCL Electronics' global TV shipments reached 6.51 million units in the first quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%; benefiting from the increase in the proportion of mid-to-high-end products in the company's TV business, the company's TV sales increased by 22.3% year-on-year.

In terms of product form, in the first quarter of 2025, global shipments of TCL TVs 65 inches and above increased by 33.0% year-on-year, and the shipment volume share increased by 4.5 percentage points year-on-year to 27.7%; TCL TV global shipments of 75 inches and above increased by 41.6% year-on-year, and the shipment volume share increased by 2.9 percentage points year-on-year to 13.7%. The average size of TCL TV globally shipped increased by 1.9 inches year-on-year to 53.4 inches.
With the deepening of the layout of high-end display technology, global shipments of TCL's mid-to-high-end product quantum dot TV increased by 74.9% year-on-year to 1.33 million units. Global shipments of TCL Mini LED TV were approximately 550,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 232.9%.
By market region, in the Chinese market, TCL TV shipments increased by 10.8% year-on-year in the first quarter. The large-screen and mid-to-high-end strategies have achieved remarkable results, and the product structure continues to improve. TCL Mini LED TV shipments increased by 341.1% year-on-year, and its shipment share significantly increased by 13.2 percentage points to 17.6%.

+Continuous improvements in product structure have driven TCL+TV sales to further increase. In the first quarter, TCL+’s TV business sales in the Chinese market increased by 35.4% year-on-year, and the average shipment price increased by 22.2% year-on-year.

+In the international market, TCL+TV international market shipments increased by 11.6% year-on-year in the first quarter. Among them, large-size TV shipments grew rapidly year-on-year. The significant year-on-year growth in overseas large-size TV shipments drove TCL's TV business overseas market sales to increase by 17.2% year-on-year.
