At the press conference, Ou Bingwen and Ou Gengquan, the chairman of the two companies, jointly stated that Starlight Alliance Group will integrate 10 major stores including Times Lighting Plaza and Swire Lighting Plaza under the two companies.
The establishment of the "Starlight Alliance" will undoubtedly help Huayi Lighting and Kaiyuan Lighting to leverage each other's accumulated brands and reputations in lighting stores. It will also effectively integrate resources to combat the current "surplus" situation in lighting stores in ancient towns. As far as the current market situation is concerned, there is a serious oversupply of lighting stores in the ancient town. Major stores are located in every corner of the ancient town, falling into an embarrassing situation of more monks and less meat. Ou Gengquan, chairman of the newly established Starlight Alliance Group, said that after the establishment of Starlight Alliance, it will achieve online and offline integration, domestic and foreign interactions, and simultaneous marketing promotion. With the ancient town as the axis, we will develop franchise chains across the country and jointly build a world-class lighting and lighting store aircraft carrier.
