The national standard for automobile lighting light signals will be revised
Recently, the revision of the National Standard No. 2 (draft for approval) GB4785-2007 "Regulations on the Installation of External Lighting and Light Signaling Devices for Vehicles and Trailers", which is under the centralized management of the National Technical Committee for Automotive Standardization, has been completed and has entered the public comment stage. "Regulations on the Installation of Exterior Lighting and Light Signaling Devices on Cars and Trailers" proposes 11 modifications. It is understood that the revision of GB4785-2007 "Regulations on the Installation of Exterior Lighting and Light Signaling Devices on Cars and Trailers" proposes a total of 11 major improvements to the standard. 1. Added Article 3.31: "Trailer Marker Lamp Fordraw-bar-Trailer", a marker lamp installed on the front of the tow bar trailer, white in the front and red in the rear, used to assist other signal lights and indicate the presence of the vehicle.
2. Add 4.1.11: "The circuit connection should be such that the front position lights, rear position lights, side marker lights (if installed), side marker lights (if installed), license plate lights and drawbar trailer marker lights can only be turned on or off at the same time. However, when the front position lights, rear position lights, side marker lights are used as parking lights (composite or mixed) and the side marker lights are allowed to flash, the above situation does not apply. 3. Added Article 4.1.21: “The number of lamps installed on the vehicle shall comply with the corresponding provisions in 4.3.1~4.3.21. (Due to the addition of 4.3.20 "Emergency Braking Signal" and 4.3.21 "Towbar Trailer Marking Light") 4. Added Article 4.1.23: "For all rear position lights, rear turn signal lights and brake lights of trucks, special operation vehicles and trailers with a total mass of not less than 4500kg, the area of the light-transmitting surface should not be less than the area of a 80mm diameter circle; if the light-transmitting surface is not circular, its shape should be able to accommodate a 40mm diameter circle.
5. Add 4.3.3.5: "...Except for Category 5 and 6 side turn signal lamps, the unobstructed viewing surface of other lamps must be not less than 12.5cm??2 (excluding any opaque retro-reflector luminous surface). This does not apply to lamps that comply with the provisions of 4.1.23." 6. Added Article 4.3.7.5: "...In order to be visible, the unobstructed viewing surface of the lamp must be no less than 12.5cm-?2 (excluding any opaque retro-reflector luminous surface). This does not apply to lamps that comply with the provisions of 4.1.23." 7. Table 1, add a row to the table: 8. Added 4.3.21 to 4.3.21.9: " 4.3.21 "Towbar trailer sign light" 4.3.21.1 Equipment: Towbar trailer must be installed. Other vehicles are prohibited from installing. 4.3.21.2 Quantity: 2.
4.3.21.3 Layout: No special requirements. 4.3.21.4 Installation position 4.3.21.4.1 Transverse direction: The distance between the point on the visual surface farthest from the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the vehicle and the outer edge of the trailer should be less than 150mm. 4.3.21.4.2 Height: The height from the front fence of the trailer shall not be less than 300mm and shall not be greater than 400mm. 4.3.21.4.3 Longitudinal: located at the front of the trailer. 4.3.21.5 Geometric visibility: no special requirements. 4.3.21.6 Direction: The white luminous surface faces the front of the vehicle, and the red luminous surface faces the rear of the vehicle. 4.3.21.7 Circuit connection: According to the provisions of 4.1.11. 4.3.21.8 Indicator: Optional. If installed, its function should be completed by the front and rear position light indicators.
4.3.21.9 Other requirements: The luminous intensity of the drawbar trailer sign light in the direction of the reference axis shall comply with the light distribution requirements for the front and rear profiles in Table 1 of GB5920. " 9. Add Figure 19: 10. Normative reference documents, add: "GB5920 Light distribution performance of front lights, rear lights, position lights and brake lights of automobiles and trailers" 11. Special provision 4.3.1.9 is changed to "Other requirements: When all headlights are turned on at the same time, the total maximum high-beam luminous intensity shall not exceed 225000cd. "Changed to "Other requirements: When all headlights are turned on at the same time, the total maximum high-beam luminous intensity should not exceed 430000cd. ”
