Current status of my country's LED lighting industry distribution (1)
Driven by the "National Semiconductor Lighting Project", my country has established 7 national semiconductor lighting engineering industrialization bases in Shanghai, Xiamen, Dalian, Nanchang, Shenzhen, Yangzhou and Shijiazhuang. The distribution status of the domestic LED industry is as follows.
(1) Pearl River Delta: Mainly concentrated in Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Foshan, Huizhou, Guangzhou, Jiangmen and Dongguan. The Pearl River Delta region is one of the most active and fastest developing regions in the domestic semiconductor lighting industrialization. It has the largest scale of packaging and application in the country, is closest to the market, has active investment, and has undertaken a large number of transfers from overseas companies. The most obvious competitive advantage is market advantage. At present, the LED lighting consumption in the Guangdong market accounts for 50% of the country's total. Among them, Guangzhou's industrial base is concentrated in high-end service platforms such as R&D, testing, and design, as well as in the downstream packaging field. Shenzhen's semiconductor lighting industry has initially formed a complete industrial chain of "sapphire-epitaxy-die-packaging-application". Jiangmen is mainly concentrated in downstream packaging and application fields, and has extended to upstream and midstream epitaxial chip manufacturing.
(2) Yangtze River Delta: The Yangtze River Delta region, represented by Shanghai, Jiangsu and Hangzhou and Ningbo in Zhejiang, has strong supporting capabilities in the LED industry, outstanding high-end applications, and relatively concentrated talents and funds. Among them, Shanghai has shown a good industrial development trend in semiconductor chip manufacturing and packaging applications, and has formed a relatively complete industrial chain and enterprise group; Jiangsu's semiconductor lighting industry, driven by the development of the electronic information industry, has begun to take shape in semiconductor lighting packaging and applications; Ningbo has a solid industrial foundation (it started early and is also a lighting production base) and economic location advantages.
(3) Fujian Triangle: Mainly concentrated in Jiangxi and Fujian. The scale of upstream investment in the Fujian Triangle is the largest in the country. Epitaxy and chip production capacity and chip companies are large, and Taiwanese companies have transferred more. Xiamen has good group advantages, talent advantages and location advantages. Jiangxi Province has achieved large-scale production from upstream epitaxial materials, midstream chip manufacturing to downstream device packaging.
(4) Bohai Bay Rim: The Bohai Bay Rim, represented by Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Hebei, etc., has strong R&D capabilities, concentrated R&D institutions, and has the best epitaxy and chip technology in the country. Beijing, in particular, has obvious advantages in research and development; Dalian has a solid foundation in light industry and optoelectronics, and the economic location advantage of being the "center of the Northeast Asian Economic Circle".
Current status of standardization of my country's LED lighting industry (2)
Overview of the formulation and revision of domestic LED lighting standards
At present, my country has promulgated a total of 111 LED lighting standards at all levels, including 36 LED national standards, 8 LED national standards that have been approved and are being drafted, and 20 LED national standards to be approved. A total of 56 LED industry standards have been promulgated, and a total of 19 LED local standards have been promulgated.
Development status of domestic LED lighting industry standard system
A standards system is an organic whole formed by standards within a certain range based on their internal relationships. The LED lighting industry standard system is a scientific and organic whole formed by the internal links of the standards that have been formulated, are being formulated, and need to be formulated in the process of LED industrialization. It involves the standardization process of the entire LED industry chain from upstream raw materials, equipment and epitaxial growth, to midstream chip manufacturing, to downstream packaging, product development, production and application.
In recent years, the LED lighting industry has received strong support from the national and local governments, and the construction of the standard system has been significantly accelerated. A large number of LED national standards, industry standards and local standards have been promulgated and established, forming the basic framework of the LED lighting industry standard system.
The domestic LED lighting industry standard system framework mainly follows the core technical characteristics of the LED industry chain and emphasizes the application needs of LED products in the lighting and display fields. It is divided into general technical standard subsystems, material, epitaxy, and chip standard subsystems, packaging, device, and module standard subsystems, drive and control standard subsystems, application product standard subsystems, equipment standard subsystems, and special site application standard subsystems. A total of 7 standard subsystems.
The domestic LED lighting industry standard system framework contains three levels of content: The first level includes three major categories: LED chip standards, LED packaging technology standards and LED lighting standards. The second level includes four categories: basic standards, performance standards, method standards and safety standards. The third level includes lighting LED test method standards, lighting LED beams can reach more than 2100lm, luminous efficiency can reach more than 90lm/W, and beam maintenance rates are more than 90%. It is possible to improve these standards next year. The safety standards announced this time include four standards, including D12 sockets, LED fluorescent lamps, and LED fluorescent lamp converters, mainly for LED fluorescent lamps.
Recently, South Korea issued a new notification, namely a draft standard for fluorescent lamp replacement LED lamps. The draft raises the safety standards for LED lamps that can replace straight tube, row and ring fluorescent lamps. The draft standard involves safety standards for LED lamps that can replace straight tube, row and ring fluorescent lamps. It stipulates the safety and functional requirements of LED lamps that replace fluorescent lamps. Safety requirements include insulation resistance, insulation strength, creepage distance, electrical clearance, heat resistance and flame resistance. Performance requirements include luminous flux, color temperature and ignition/extinguishing life.
Conclusion
Generally speaking, many international standardization organizations have formulated various standards, which reflects the full emphasis on standardization. However, some of the standards and specifications have duplication and contradiction problems. In particular, some applications are affected by traditional industries and the constraints of standard technology convergence, as well as technical blind spots, resulting in unscientific standards. Therefore, it is recommended that domestic LED standardization work fully draw on the technology and experience of existing international standards, rationally plan the content and process of my country's LED standardization work, fully carry out research on LED standardization, accelerate the formulation of LED national standards suitable for my country's national conditions, closely link the standardization work with the market, increase investment in LED standardization, cultivate LED standardization talents, and establish my country's LED standardization system as soon as possible.
