Chenxian Optoelectronics successfully lit up the TFT-based frameless Micro LED splicing box

On June 16, Chenxian Optoelectronics announced that it successfully lit up the first TFT-based frameless 14.5-inch Micro LED splicing box in mainland China.

According to reports, the box is made up of 8 screens, with a seam of less than 100 microns and a pixel pitch of 0.5 mm. It has four borderless features and can be freely spliced to meet customer customization needs. It is suitable for high-end large-size spliced display products.

According to reports, the box uses the country's first Micro LED dedicated driver IC, which achieves 10-bit color depth, 240Hz high brush, and a unique De-Mura solution to greatly improve the display quality; using a self-developed hybrid driver circuit architecture, it successfully achieves 500nit brightness (with HDR function, up to 1000nit).

In addition, the box also uses self-developed high-speed mass transfer technology to increase the 25-micron LED chip transfer yield to 99.995%. It also uses LED incoming material post-processing technology to ensure the consistency and brightness of the display color.

According to data, Chenxian Optoelectronics was established in 2020. It is a Micro LED project operation entity jointly invested and established by Visionox and Chengdu State-owned Investment Platform. It carries out R&D and production work around key technologies such as mass transfer, driving and detection, chip design, and colorization.
