The project is constructed in two phases, with an investment of approximately 20 billion yuan in the first phase. The construction content covers display devices, ultra-high-definition new display modules and complete machine production lines. After all are reached, the output value will be approximately 50 billion yuan/year, and the comprehensive tax will be approximately 2.4 billion yuan/year.
It is reported that the project party is a comprehensive service provider focusing on the intelligent manufacturing of core components in the semiconductor display field and providing smart IoT solutions. It has been committed to the upstream and downstream vertical integration of the display industry chain. It is also a group company with independent intellectual property rights and core competitiveness, integrating R&D, production and sales. The project party has built four G8.6 generation high-generation LCD panel factories in Chongqing, Chuzhou, Mianyang, and Changsha, module display bases in Chongqing, Beihai, Changsha, and Mianyang, and smart display terminal production bases in Chongqing, Chongqing, Hefei, and Beihai.
According to reports, the smooth implementation of the new display base project is another major breakthrough for Henan Province to anchor the "two guarantees", implement the "Ten Major Strategies", and preemptively deploy strategic and leading major projects. It is of great significance to Henan Province to expand and strengthen the new display industry and create a trillion-level electronic information industry cluster, and will effectively promote the high-quality development of the provincial manufacturing industry. After the project is put into operation, it can form industrial supporting facilities with many leading enterprises in the port area and actively help extend and strengthen the electronic information industry chain in Henan Province.
