Hebei Consumers Association energy-saving lamp comparison test report: Philips NVC failed
A comparative test report on 33 brands of energy-saving lamps recently released by the Hebei Provincial Consumer Association shows that 24 of the 33 samples failed to meet the relevant national standards to varying degrees in seven tests. All test items of 1 sample did not meet the national standards. Among them, an energy-saving lamp produced by Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd. failed to meet the initial light efficiency, and the NVC energy-saving lamp failed in three indicators. Compared with traditional lighting fixtures, energy-saving lamps are increasingly popular among consumers for their energy saving and environmental protection. However, due to the low market entry threshold for energy-saving lamps, simple processes, and uneven product quality, many consumers are unable to identify their advantages and disadvantages. According to reports, the Hebei Consumers Association conducted a comparative test on some energy-saving lamp products in the provincial capital market from July 2013 to February 2014, testing seven indicators of energy-saving lamp samples: marking, mechanical strength, lamp power, power factor, initial light efficiency/luminous flux, color characteristics, and harmonics.
The comparative test results of Hebei Consumers Association showed that the initial light efficiency of 8 samples did not meet the national standards. These include the PHILIPS brand energy-saving model with the name of Philips (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and the model specification of 475lm59lm/W220-240v-50-60Hzl=60mA daylight color. lamps, as well as Huizhou NVC Lighting brand energy-saving lamps from Huizhou NVC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., with model specifications YPZ220/32-SRRE27220V~50Hz32W250mAλ: 0.55. The results also showed that the lamp power indicators of 20 samples did not meet the national standard requirements, accounting for 60.61% of the total number of samples. These include NVC NVC Lighting brand energy-saving lamps whose nominal company is Huizhou NVC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and whose specification model is YPZ220/32-SRRE27220V~50Hz32W250mAλ: 0.55.
In addition, the harmonic indicators of energy-saving lamps of 13 samples, including the NVC NVC International brand energy-saving lamps whose nominal company is Huizhou NVC Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and whose model specifications are YPZ220/32-SRRE27220V~50Hz32W250mAλ: 0.55, do not meet the national standards.
