On April 23, the Wujiang District Government of Shaoguan, Guangdong and Jiangbo Glass Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the LED intelligent transparent display and cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass production base project.

The contracted project is located in the Urban-Rural Integration Industrial Park in Wujiang District, with a planned investment of 100 million yuan and a land area of ​​45 acres. It will build new factories, supporting buildings, LED intelligent transparent displays, and cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass production lines. The products are mainly used in building curtain walls, building facades, building exteriors, etc., so that the building curtain walls have the functions of lighting, architectural advertising display, and photovoltaic power generation.

The project will realize multi-functional integration of building curtain walls through the composite application of LED lamp beads, glass substrate sintering process and other technologies, which will help fill the key technology gap in the regional green building materials industry chain. The project is expected to have an annual output value of 200 million yuan and create more than 100 jobs.

According to data, Jiangbo Glass was established in 2016 and has eight years of development history in the field of glass manufacturing. It has a full range of high-end glass production line matrices such as flat and bent tempering, fireproof and bulletproof, and low-E coating.

Regarding the signing of this project, Ye Bo, chairman of Jiangbo Glass, said that the company will give full play to its technical reserves and advantages in the field of photovoltaic glass and build it into the first integrated building photovoltaic demonstration base in northern Guangdong. , and drive upstream and downstream enterprises to implement intelligent transformation, forming a new industrial cluster effect.
