SHARP has denied in China that the domestic LCD factory reported error

Sharp Co today denied reports that it would build a LCD factory in china. Earlier Chinese media quoted a SHARP executive said, SHARP will invest $2 billion 400 million in China to build a liquid crystal display factory, the main production LCD TV panel.

According to reports, SHARP overseas business department vice president Kanno Nobuyuki in SHARP Trading (China) said the opening ceremony, the Sharp Co will invest $2 billion 400 million to build a LCD factory in China, mainly the production of LCD TV panel. But SHARP denied this, and made it clear that the report is wrong. The report also quoted the Nanjing Sharp Electronics Corporation, a person in charge of the unnamed said, SHARP's new plant has been located in Nanjing, but has not yet identified the construction of the first generation LCD panel production line.

In April this year, SHARP acquired Fujitsu's LCD display sector, but due to strong market demand, the company still needs to improve the production of LCD panels, LCD TV in order to solve the problem of parts supply.
